Weekly Bible Verses and Prayer Challenge

Luke 9:23-26

"And he said to them all, If any an will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.  

For what is a man advantage, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

For whosoever shall be ashamed of and my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."

Prayer Challenge of the Week:

We need to be in prayer for our school, our students, and our teachers.  We need to pray for our young people to have respect for their teachers and for each other.  We need to pray for a Spirit of peace to come over our nation!  We need to pray for those who exhibit hatred and anger to be overcome with God's love and grace.  We need to pray for an awakening of God's Holy Spiritin our nation!
